Sudoku Whiz app for iPhone and iPad

Sudoku Whiz is a reverse puzzle game--you make the sudoku puzzle and Sudoku Whiz solves it. You can use it to check a solution that you’ve worked out for a puzzle you found in a newspaper, book, or online; or, if you couldn’t solve the puzzle, you can verify that there actually is (or is not) a solution. Or perhaps you could find a way to let your friends think that you’re actually solving the sudoku, and then let Sudoku Whiz give you the solution in no time at all and show your friends how quick “you” are!

Once you have entered a puzzle and asked Sudoku Whiz to solve it, it will find the solution, if there is one, instantly. If there are no solutions, it will let you know that just as quickly. Or, if there is more than one solution, it will find them all (up to 10,000--at that point it gives up!) and show you them one at a time for as long as you want to see them.

While the “normal-sized” sudoku puzzle is a square with nine cells on each side, Sudoku Whiz can do 4x4, 6x6, 12x12, and 16x16 puzzles as well.
